DAY
TOURS AROUND CAPE TOWN:
Cape
Point, Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach, Kirstenbosch Botanical
Gardens and a short
Cape Town City Tour
- Depart 08h30 from the hotel in Cape Town.
- Photo stop at a viewpoint overlooking Houtbay.
- We take the coastal road via the world famous Chapman's Peak
Drive, going past places such as Noordhoek, Kommetjie and Misty
Cliffs.
- You can do a 1½ hour leisurely hike at Cape of Good Hope
Nature Reserve. Animals seen here include
Mountain Zebra, Bontebok, Eland (the largest antelope in Africa),
Chacma Baboons and up to 250 species of birds. This is the
most South-Westerly point of the African continent, where the Atlantic
and Indian Oceans meet.
- Lunch at the award winning Two Oceans Restaurant, with it's spectacular
view across False Bay.
- We visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. This is home to
more than 3000 African Penguins.
- We carry on along the False Bay coast through the historical
naval town of Simon's Town and the quaint little fishing village
of Kalkbay. During Whale Season you can aspect to see some of these
magnificent animals, coming all the way from the Antarctic to calve
and breed (August to December)
- We go for a gentle stroll inside the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical
Gardens, home to more than 5000 indigenous and exotic plant species.
- We finish the day off, with a short Cape Town City Tour and view
from Signal Hill.

Shark Cage Diving.
Near the town
of Gansbaai on the Cape South Coast, lies the picturesque town of Kleinbaai.
Geyser Island lies
just off the coast and is home to a permanent colony
of approximately 40 000 Cape Fur Seals. It is in these
waters that you
will find the world renowned “Shark Alley”. Known worldwide
to be the best place to observe and
encounter the great white shark.
You
will loose your fear of them and discover a love for these gracious animals.

We take a scenic 2 hour drive to
the town of Gansbaai on the Cape South Coast
Breakfast and an
overview of the day
Briefing on the dive and on the safety aspect
We
launch and take a 20min boat ride to our dive spot
Anchor and
start diving
4 hours on the water with multiple dives per person
Viewing
deck on the boat
Boat returns at between 13h00 and 13h30
Lunch,
handing out of certificates and watch the DVD of the Dive
You
will be back in Cape Town area, at around 17h00
