What does the price of the
tour include:
- All transport on days of travel. Air conditioned,
semi-luxurious bus.

- The cheetah breeding project in Jansenville. Touching
the cheetahs

What
is not included in the price of the tour:
- All your meals (Approximately €20 per day if you
have all your meals in restaurants)
- All remaining entrances and excursions (If you do all
the excursions in the itinerary it will cost approximately €260)

Tour Itinerary - 24 DAY SA HIGHLIGHTS TOUR |

| DAY
1: JOHANNESBURG |
|
- Arrive in Johannesburg where you will be met at the airport
by your national tourist guide.
- All our guides have a National Tour guiding Certificate
and are very knowledgeable and passionate about our Fauna
and Flora, History, Geology, Culture and Traditions.
- If you arrive on a flight before 12h00 local time, there
will be enough time to visit Soweto.
- The tour of Soweto includes The Hector Pieterson Memorial,
Nelson Mandela's former house, Desmond Tutu's house, Winni
Mandela's house and a visit to an informal settlement.
- Transfer to our Hotel in Johannesburg.

2: Johannesburg – Kruger Park (480
km) (Kruger Park

|
- We depart for our lodge, 30km east of Kruger National Park,
situated on a private Game Reserve in the Klaserie Area.
- We take the scenic route, visiting The Three Rondawels with
it's breathtaking view over the third biggest canyon in the
world and The Bourke's Luck Potholes.
- For dinner tonight we have a traditional 'braai' on an open
fire.

3: Moholoholo and Blyde river Canyon (Kruger
Park Area) |

- We visit Moholoholo Rehabilitation Center where you can come
in close contact with wild animals, including vultures, lion,
leopard, cheetah, hyena, etc. Here you can learn more about
the African bush and the ecology.
- After lunch we visit the third largest Canyon in the world,
where we go on a very laid back boat cruise.
- Here you can aspect to see breathtakingly beautiful scenery
all around you. Mountains, waterfalls, lots of bird life, crocodiles
and hippos.
- We will be back at the lodge in time for a swim and some
time to relax.
- (As an optional day you can go hot-air ballooning
over the bush, quid biking, spelunking, micro light
flying, big five game drives or just relaxing at our beautiful
lodge)

4: Kruger Park |
|
 |
- A full day safari in the Kruger National Park.
- We go searching for the Big 5 and other interesting animals.
- Kruger Park has more animal species than any other wildlife
park in Africa.

5: Walking safari and Night drive (Kruger
Park Area) |
|
- We go for an early morning hike in the bush, where we will
search for and follow the animal tracks. Walk with all
kinds of antelope, wildebeest, zebra and giraffe. Approximately
2hours.
- The rest of the day is yours until late afternoon when we will
be going on an open vehicle night drive in a private Big Five
Reserve.
- You can also go on a 2 hour walking tour of the local Shangaan
village. Here you can see how the local people live. We meet
the Sangoma or shaman of the district, visit a local she been
and the clinic .

6: Kruger Park – Swaziland (320

- Today we drive to the Kingdom of Swaziland, where we will stay
in one of the Royal National Parks.
- We visit the local Swazi Craft Market and do some game viewing.

7 Swaziland – Kwa zulu Natal (240
km) (St Lucia) |
|
- We leave mid morning and cross the border back into South Africa.
- We arrive in the town of St Lucia, where there will be
time for shopping, emailing or a swim in the Indian Ocean.

8 Hluhluwe-Umfolozi (St
Lucia) |
|
- In the morning we go on safari in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game
Reserve with open vehicles and professional guides.
- In the afternoon we go for a sunset cruise on Lake St Lucia.
This 60 km long estuary is part of a world heritage site and
is home to hundreds of hippos, crocodiles, sharks, snakes and
millions of birds.
- There is a bar and a toilet on the boat.

9 St Lucia – Drakensberg (240

- We depart for the Northern Drakensberg.
- We drive through the beautiful Kwa zulu Natal Midlands with
its rolling green hills and Zulu homesteads.
- In the late afternoon we reach the majestic Drakensberg Mountains.

- We go hiking in the mountain and you can take your own picnic
and swimming trunks with.
- There is also an option to go horseback riding or golfing.

12 Drakensberg – Lesotho (350

- We drive via Golden Gate National Park with it's beautiful
sandstone mountains and wildlife.
- From there we drive through one of the most beautiful parts
of South Africa, the Eastern Free State and then across the border
into the Kingdom of Lesotho.

- There are options to go hiking, mountain biking and horseback
riding. We also meet the locals and see how they live.

14 Lesotho – Graaff-Reinet (420

- We cross the border back into South Africa and drive through
the Great Karoo (semi-desert) to the third oldest town in South
Africa.

- We visit the Valley of Desolation with it's beautiful rock
formations and view across the Karoo.
- You can also visit the biggest cactus garden in the Southern
Hemisphere, go on a township tour and visit a few of the many
museums in town.

16 Graaff-Reinet – Tsitsikamma (300

- We drive to Tsitsikamma and visit a cheetah breeding project
along the way. Here you can touch the big cats and make pictures.

- Hiking and swimming at Storms river National Park.
- We visit the Elephant Sanctuary where you can touch and ride
the elephants.
- Whale watching at Plettenberg Bay (August to December, 2 hour
boat trip)

18 Knysna – Oudshoorn (120

- We visit the Cango Caves and an Ostrich Farm.
- (As an optional, you can go up the Swartberg Pass with
4x4 vehicles)

19 Oudshoorn – Cape Town (420
km) (Cape Town) |

- Drive through the Klein Karoo to Cape Town.
- There is time to go up Table Mountain if the weather is fine
or a visit to the V&A Waterfront.

- Hiking at Cape Point Nature Reserve (the most South-Western
point on the African continent).
- Visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach and do a Cape Town
City tour.
- There is enough time left to take the cable car up Table Mountain, visit
the V&A Waterfront or Robben Island.
- (As an optional day, you can visit the beautiful coastal
village of Hermanus on the South Coast. Hermanus is the best
whale watching spot in the world. Whale watching and shark
cage diving)

We
take a drive up the West Coast of South Africa where we visit a
few of the beautiful fishing villages like Paternoster.

- We spend time in the Cederberg Mountains with it's unique rock
formations and beautiful colours.
- The stars at night is a sight you will never forget.

23 West Coast – Cape Town (200
km) |

- We drive back to Cape Town and along the way we visit the most beautiful
wine farm in South Africa.
- We arrive in Cape Town in time to view the sunset from Signal
Hill.
- Transfer to the airport and fly back home.
